Changes in Progress

Texas School Procedures is continually seeking ways to enhance our website. If you are reading our newsletters and viewing the links embedded in each one, you will see the following changes:

1. In each of our protocols, we provide direct links to supporting documents that are outside TxSP’s website.
2. Our team is also adding links in our protocols and documents to other related areas on the TxSP website that might add additional support.
3. TxSP regularly reviews and updates protocols and documents. As we implement our regular updates, you will begin to see more links provided, eventually in all protocols and documents where applicable.
4. Over the past decade, our primary focus has been on legislative compliance. Still, we hope you have noticed that we are adding procedures and documents that also cover “HOT TOPICS” in the educational field.
5. Michelle Capener, our Director of Engagement and Education, is reaching out to EVERY subscribing district to set up an onboarding session as part of our annual outreach. She has been very busy with these sessions, and districts are discovering many protocols and documents that they needed but didn’t know were part of the website.
6. Districts are recognizing the value of sharing passwords, not just with the district leadership team, but also with principals, counselors, nurses, and support staff. Staff assigned to campuses are becoming increasingly independent and confident, knowing exactly what to do (the protocols) and how to do it (the documents).
